In the early 1800’s, give or take a few decades, the seeds of a religious movement began in the United Kingdom and in the newly formed United States. Since that time, the movement has taken some interesting turns and broken into a number of unique religious groups that find their home in the U.S.
Whether or not the early ‘founders’ of this movement would recognize the groups that have developed since then is a difficult question to answer, but in many respects, likely not.
Reclaiming Restoration is a blog reflecting a personal journey with the movement. It will cover some history of the movement, share personal reflections, and give a glimpse into what might be and, with a little poetic license, into what the early framers of the movement might say to us today about the future of the movement.
